Shopping in the Falls Church area grew up around Seven Corners, where Seven Corners Shopping Center opened in 1956 as one of the first malls in the Washington region. Across Wilson Boulevard, Eden Center has grown into a Vietnamese American shopping center of more than 120 shops, with markets, jewelry stores and gift shops among the restaurants.

Our retail listings spread from there. Big-box stores line Crossroads Center Way in Bailey's Crossroads and Columbia Pike. Two garden centers sit on Arlington Boulevard and Route 29, and thrift, consignment and gift shops fill storefronts on West Broad Street in the city. The Mosaic District in Merrifield, a 31-acre town center with a Target and an arthouse cinema, is a few minutes west.

The city's farmers market adds more than 50 vendors every Saturday of the year.
